1. Fundamental policy
    We at Roland Corporation will disclose information in a timely and appropriate manner in conformity with the related laws and regulations, including the Company Law and the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law, as well as the Timely Disclosure Rules provided for by the Tokyo Stock Exchange.  If there is the information which we consider is useful for a wide variety of stakeholders, even though it does not fall under the categories mentioned above, we will be positive in disclosing it.
     
  2. Method of disclosing information
    The information which is required to be disclosed by the laws or regulations will be disclosed in the manner stipulated in the relevant laws or regulations.  The information falling under the category stipulated in the Timely Disclosure Rules of the Tokyo Stock Exchange will be disclosed by the Timely Disclosure network (TDnet) provided by the Tokyo Stock Exchange.  In addition, we will disclose timely information in our Website.
     
  3. Fair disclosure of information
    We will observe the Fair Disclosure Rules provided for by the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law, and conduct fair disclosure of information; we will not selectively disclosing material facts not yet officially announced.
     
  4. The silent period
    In order to prevent leakage of our financial information and to secure fairness, we designate the period from the day following the last day of a financial year to the day on which the financial statements are announced as the “silent period,” during which we will refrain from responding to or commenting on the questions about the account settlement or business results forecasts.
     
  5. Concerning our estimates for the future
    The information we disclose on our future, such as the business results forecast of our Group, is based on the information we have received up to the time of preparing the material, and on a certain assumption the management consider to be reasonable. Therefore, the actual business performance, etc. may differ substantially from it due to the changes in various types of risk and uncertain elements.
