What is Roland Cloud
- It was launched in 2017 as a cloud-based software sound subscription service (monthly/yearly flat-rate membership fee) for music and media producers.
- It also offers software versions of many of our legendary hardware and special sounds and updaters that can be used with currently available hardware.
- In the future, we will continue to add sound sources and sounds and offer a variety of apps and services to help Roland users enjoy music.
2. Our approach to M&A
Although we are a comprehensive manufacturer of electronic musical instruments with a wide range of products, we do not cover all musical instruments. Our policy is to actively consider M&A in fields where we can expand our lineup of electronic musical instruments and expect synergies with existing fields.
As part of our medium- to long-term vision of establishing the Roland Cloud business, we will actively invest management resources for development and other purposes to build business platforms that include software, services, and content. We also hope to accelerate the realization of our vision by flexibly incorporating various knowledge and resources, not only through our company but also through collaborations and partnerships with external organizations.
